Essential Qualification: 12th
/Senior Secondary Examination from a recognized Board.
Desirable : Knowledge of Hindi.
Physical Standard : Male : Height – 163 cms, Chest – 84 cms, Expansion -5 cms. Female : Height – 150
cms, Chest – 79 cms, Expansion – 5 cms. Minimum height standards for ST candidates and races such
as Assamese, Butanese, Garwalis, Gorkhas, Kumaonise Ladakhese, Mizo, Naga, Nepalese, Sikkimise
and those from Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul & Spiti, Megalaya. Male: 152 cms, Female: 140 cms.
Walking test for Male and Female candidates of 25/16 kms to be completed in four hours on foot.
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-
Age Limit: 18 - 27 Years (relaxable for Government Servant and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per
orders/instructions of the Government of India issued from time to time.)
